Rack-it 1000 Series Fully Welded Standard Aluminum Pipe Rack

Since 1986, our goal has been to design the most high-performing, versatile Racks on the market, with a perfect-fit option for every truck owner. Our American aluminum Rack is rust resistant, with proven durability even in the harsh conditions of wintery, salted roadways. You won’t have to sacrifice gas mileage with our aluminum Rack, the lighter frame enables easier on-off installation for multi-use trucks, all while maintaining the same dependable load-bearing frame users expect from a Rack-it. Whether you’re looking to reduce weight on your fleet or want the freedom to more easily remove your Rack for weekend trips, the Aluminum Pipe Rack checks all the boxes.

Our 1000 Series Standard Aluminum Racks were engineered with hand-loaded construction materials in mind, with the Fully Welded one-piece design providing maximum strength while reducing install time and delivering one of the quietest rides on the market. Engineered for unmatched stability, our Standard Rack provides a versatile and efficient solution for any material you need to haul.

We know performance is all in the details, so we’ve custom designed every Rack for Make, Model and Year-specific fitting. Whether you have a standard cab, extended or crew, short bed, long bed – we’ve designed a Rack for you.

Fully welded one-piece construction creates a singular unit support cage over the cargo and cab, providing support for supplies and protection in the event of an accident.

Each Rack is custom built for your specific truck’s Make, Model, Year and designed to the optimal length for ultimate structural integrity.

Our signature Candy-Cane rounded endpoints protect your materials and make it easier to slide and load large pieces – all while adding style to the Rack.

The 1000 Series Aluminum Rack weighs in at about 75 pounds, just around one third of the weight of our steel Racks.

Aluminum angle mounting runs the full length of your truck’s bed rail, distributing weight evenly and providing unmatched structural support.

We’ve included a removable rear bar for versatility. Quick release ring pins make it easy to remove, so even taller loads won’t stand in your way. The bar is fully welded and is designed to safely support the rear structure of the two main tube rails.

We've built our Racks with heavy duty boat cleat tie-downs: the aluminum cleats are welded to each upright for versatile hauling and security of your load.

Double weld-in gussets at each cross bar and cab overhang provide maximum structural integrity, creating an even stronger frame resistant to snapping.

A top choice for harsh outdoor applications, the Schedule 40 Aluminum used in our Racks is known for its durability, resistance to corrosion, and high strength-to-weight ratio – making it a great choice for large, weight bearing products that need to be light.

Custom built for each truck, Rack-it conforms to the body lines of the vehicle, eliminating drag and complementing the look of the truck.

The aluminum Rack is finished with an industrial grade powder coat finish offered in gloss black, texture (matte) black, sport silver or white. Additional custom colors available on request.

Our Wind Deflector accessory enhances wind movement over and around the Rack, helping to reduce wind noise. This accessory item is included with all extended and crew cab Racks.
(SEE IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW)

IMPORTANT: Due to the structural nature of aluminum pipe, the rack’s overhang cannot exceed 62” in length. All crew cab and extended cab racks will have an overhang that sits directly above the cab of the vehicle. Whenever an overhang is recessed over the top of the cab, wind noise may occur. Rack-it will provide a wind deflector solution on all aluminum racks with Crew Cab (4 full doors) and Extended Cab applications. It is important to understand this wind deflector solution will help reduce the wind noise, but may not completely eliminate it.
